AGO Fire and Rescue is a family run business with a core workforce of serving and ex serving firefighters. This allows us to provide you a service with the skill and knowledge of the fire service at your disposal.

Confined Space Rescue

Of all the fatalities that occur annually, within confined spaces in the UK, 65% are would-be rescuers so it is essential that trained and competent rescue teams are used. This is not only to ensure your full compliance with Regulation 5 of the Confined Space Regulations – but to save lives!

We provide the perfect solution to this mandatory legal requirement as our confined space rescue teams are all members of the UK Fire & Rescue Service. All our team members are trained and competent with many members being USAR trained, whilst others operate from various Rescue Units within their Fire & Rescue organisation.

Fire Training

Two thirds of businesses that experience a fire are either not able to re-open after the fire or fail within three years. This is because fire, smoke and water damage affect stock, raw materials, tooling, machinery and of course the premises itself. Customers go elsewhere whilst the damage is repaired, which can take months or even years to be completed.

Our fire training courses have been designed and managed by our Fire Safety Consultant with 33 years’ experience as an operational fire fighter and fire safety advisor. Most importantly they are designed to comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Fire Risk Assessment

The biggest problem when looking for a fire risk assessment to be done is finding someone who is truly competent. In a post Grenfell world, you want to make sure you are getting true and practicable advice at the most reasonable cost. Whether you are a commercial property or a block of flats the devastation of fire holds no prejudice when proper precautions have not been made.

AGO Fire & Rescue assessors are all qualified specialist with the head of our department being an ex-fire fighter with over 30 years’ experience in fire safety.
